Mrs. Utley's first grade class has just finished a new art project! They made an owl collage. They used forks and toothbrushes to make their owls. They first took the fork and dipped them in orange and yellow paint. They dabbed the painted fork on a piece of orange or yellow paper. Then they dipped a toothbrush in purple and brown paint. After that they splattered paint on their papers. They used the purple and white splatter paint paper for the body. The brown and purple splatter paint was used for the wings and the yellow and orange fork art was used for the eyes, beak, and feet. This cool project is for their weekly art project and to celebrate the Halloween season.
