This year's third grade have been learning about bees and other pollinators. On Friday, they had a special guest come. His name is Mr. Lamey. He and his lovely assistant, Mrs. Lamey, came and taught them some more about pollinators. He showed third grade about how much honey a bee makes in its lifetime and it's just under an eighth of a teaspoon. He also had one lucky third grader, Lydia Maurer, suit up and be the lucky queen bee this year. Thank you, Mr and Mrs. Lamey, for coming and teaching third grade about bees and other pollinators.
